In October, we had the pleasure of attending the TU Future Summit 2023 in London, where we got to listen to and share thoughts with decision-makers across the financial services industry.
We started the event off with the TransUnion Executive Insights Unplugged session, where TransUnion’s representatives shared their vision for the evolving financial ecosystem and the company’s role in helping consumers and businesses to transact with confidence in the UK’s economy. They discussed the changing regulatory landscape and emerging innovations revolutionising the financial industry. The session was informative and insightful, providing us with a comprehensive understanding of the current state and future of the financial industry.
The rest of the day was full of sessions packed with information about industry trends, consumer behaviour and emerging credit-active consumer trends.
TransUnion led exciting sessions and discussions on financial inclusion, the economic potential of Gen Z and how to protect the integrity of the digital economy while building trust between businesses and consumers. Most sessions also benefited from invited speakers from various industry-leading organisations, giving their thoughts and insights. TransUnion’s experts and invited speakers were on hand to answer pressing questions and debate on the day’s hot topics.
The breaks and networking sessions provided an excellent platform for everyone to share knowledge, build valuable relationships with like-minded professionals and explore opportunities. This was also the perfect opportunity for some of the Monevo team to join TransUnion’s bike activation with Plant Your Future, planting trees in the Peruvian Amazon rainforest.
We also got to showcase our partnership with TransUnion at our lunch – and learn. Greg Cox, Monevo’s co-founder and CEO, spoke passionately about Next Generation Credit Offer Eligibility and Distribution, demonstrating how Monevo’s products and services can add significant value to the industry.
Kriti Sharma, an award-winning technologist, business executive and humanitarian specialising in AI, was the keynote speaker at the TransUnion Summit. Sharma delivered an inspiring and informative speech at the event, sharing valuable insights on how to shape the future of AI and data products. She also shared her experiences of using AI to address social issues and create a positive impact, emphasising the importance of ensuring that disadvantaged groups have a say in the technology being created. She outlined her success stories and her work with AI for Good, a social enterprise she founded, which was a great example of how AI can address the needs of the most vulnerable and underserved populations. It was an excellent session that highlighted the potential of AI in making the world a better place for everyone.
Attending the event was an incredible opportunity, and we are already looking forward to the TU Summit 2024.
